The 8th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta is the release and river race of up to 15,000 bright yellow rubber ducks for a controlled race down the Great Miami River. Ducks will be "released" south of downtown's Pedestrian Bridge, float down the river and finish at RiverScape's Festival Plaza. This event takes place on September 17th in conjunction with the Taste of Miami Valley. (One duck "adoption" equals one entry/duck in the race") Prizes are awarded to the first 6 ducks that "cross the finish line" Click here to view this year's prizes!

Regatta Weekend Activities:

This year's event will take place in Conjunction with The Taste of Miami Valley at RiverScapeMetroPark on Saturday, September 17, 2011. We will host a "Quacky Kid's Parade" at 3:30 pm. The Corporate Duck Race will take place at 4:00 pm and the BIG duck drop will be at 4:30 pm. Come out and join us to see if you have one of the winning ducks!

The Rubber Duck Regatta Kroger Kickoff will take place on July 14 @ 10 am, at the Englewood Marketplace and July 16 @ 11 am, at the Beavercreek Marketplace! Save the date, and get ready to adopt a duck!!!

URS will be hosting a "Cheese and Quackers" Wine Tasting in the event tent at RiverScape on Friday, September 16. More information coming soon!

Thank you for helping local children and adults with disabilities! Tiffany (pictured above) was born with Cerebral Palsy. Her parents were told she would likely never be able to walk. Thanks to the therapy she is receiving at United Rehabilitation Services, she can now take steps with no assistance!

All proceeds raised from the Rubber Duck Regatta go to local children and adults with disabilities or other special needs!
