Comprehensive Children's Services

Our "inclusion policy" encourages and accepts all siblings in the family, not just the child with special needs.

Child Care Center

For over 20 years, we have provided quality care for children from six weeks to 18 years with disabilities promoting their physical, mental and social development.

Monday through Friday children participate in structured, developmentally appropriate activities which stimulate growth in language, science, math, music, creative, motor, and social skills. Nurses, therapists, pathologists and social workers work with the children in developing individual goals and objectives.

Infant Care Center

Quality infant care is difficult to find for most parents. But, as the parent of a child with special needs, it is nearly impossible. The child may have unique medical or physical needs, or may require special equipment and nursing care. For these parents quality and professional care is of the utmost importance. We accept infants from 6 weeks to 18 months.

Our Infant Care team of experts in conjunction with the family develops an individual care plan to meet your infant's need for therapy, medications, and activity. Each infant's daily activities enhance their individual development in all areas. Activities to stimulate the growth and development of the brain enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of each child. A safe, secure environment enables infants to bond with caregivers, learn to trust, and develop emotional intelligence that plays an important role in early development.

Latchkey Program

Our Latchkey program is the only regional program designed to meet the special needs of students with disabilities. We offer age-appropriate, after-school activities for youth ages 10-18, with developmental disabilities.

Monday through Friday, on regular school days, care is available before and after school from 6:30-9:00 am and 2:00-6:15 pm. Full day services are available when school is not in session, including parent conference days, school breaks, and throughout the summer.

Youth participate in computer skills, arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading, movie times and assistance with homework. The summer camp program includes field trips to a variety of community activities. Students also receive assistance with feeding, toileting and other activities of daily living.

Summer Camp Program

Our summer camp program will be held Monday - Friday from 8:30 am - 4:00 pm. It is for children ages 6-18. Activities include field trips into the community, arts & crafts, games, indoor and outdoor motor activities, sensory experiences, literacy, music, and science activities. Enrollment will begin in March 2007.
