Meet Our Therapy Staff

Occupational Therapy

Kirsten Patterson, MA OTR/L - kpatterson@ursdayton.org - ext. 110

Kirsten is an occupational therapist and the Clinical Services Manager at United Rehabilitation Services of Greater Dayton, and has worked at URS since June 2009.  She received her MA in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California.  Prior to moving to Ohio, Kirsten worked at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.  She has also worked at Texas Children’s Hospital and Childrens Hospital Los Angeles in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Kirsten received her certification in Pediatric NeuroDevelopmental Treatment in 2006 and is certified as an Infant Massage Instructor.  In addition her areas of specialty include early childhood development, neurological impairments, medically fragile children and pediatric rehabilitation.

Suzie Carmona - scarmona@ursdayton.org – ext. 151

Suzie is a registered occupational therapist and has 22 years of experience. She has worked at United Rehabilitation Services since September 2006. She received her degree from Utica College of Syracuse University.  Previously she worked for CP Rochester, formerly United Cerebral Palsy, for 18 years. Suzie has worked with adults and children both cognitive and physical impairments in a variety of settings including schools, adapted work sites and homes. Her passion for occupational therapy strives from the joy and excitement she receives seeing individuals reach their potential's and their personal goals.

Christy Gagel - cgagel@ursdayton.org – ext. 151

Christy is an occupational therapy assistant & has been employed at URS since June 2006.  In 2002, she graduated president of the international honor society Phi Theta Kappa, receiving her degree in occupational therapy. She has worked in various settings, with her passion being pediatrics. She enjoys developing materials & information for an individualized treatment approach.

Physical Therapy

Bobbi Moushon - bmoushoun@ursdayton.org – ext. 116

Bobbi is a physical therapist who has been employed at URS since March 2005. She graduated with her B.S. in Anatomy & Physiology in 2002 and Masters in Physical Therapy in 2003 from Andrew’s University in Michigan. Her prior experience includes outpatient rehab, transitional care unit, and nursing home responsibilities. She is currently certified as a Kinesio Tape Practitioner and an Assistive Technology Practitioner (specializing in wheelchairs). Bobbi's previous experience includes outpatient rehab, transitional care unit and long term care.

Speech Language Pathology

Beverly Page - bpage@ursdayton.org - ext. 123

Beverly Page is a Speech Language Pathologist who has interests in swallowing and language disorders. She has been working in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Setting since 2006 and has prior experience working in Skilled Nursing Facilities. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Disorders from The University of Akron and her Masters Degree from Valdosta State University in Valdosta, Georgia.

John Pearson - jpearson@ursdayton.org -ext. 122

John is a Speech Language Pathologist and has been with URS since February 2011. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ohio University and his Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Cincinnati. John has experience working in a variety of different settings, including home health care, schools and outpatient clinics. He enjoys all areas of speech and language therapy, especially fluency therapy.

Alicia Clore - aclore@ursdayton.org - ext. 124

Alicia is a speech language pathologist and has worked at URS since August 2010. She received her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and her master's degree from Bowling Green State University. Alicia has previous experience in both school and hospital settings, with clients spanning all ages. She particularly enjoys working with fluency and language disorders and has a growing interest in pediatric swallowing disorders.

Melissa Theis - mtheis@ursdayton.org - ext. 113

Melissa is our Audiology Manager who earned her Doctorate in Audiology from the University of Florida and her Masters in Audiology from Louisiana State University medical center. She comes to us after serving 7 years as an active duty Air Force clinical audiologist and 2 years as a research audiologist for the Air Force Research Laboratory. Her areas of specialty include inner ear balance evaluation and rehabilitation, tinnitus retraining therapy and neuromonics tinnitus treatment, and aural rehabilitation for adult hearing aid users.

Lakisha Williams - lwilliams@ursdayton.org - ext. 120

Lakisha is a clinical audiologist and earned her Masters of Arts degree from the University of Cincinnati and has eight years experience as an Audiologist. She is presently earning her Doctor of Audiology degree through A.T. Still University. She is a certified member of the American Speech Language & Hearing Association.
