Volunteer at URS

Volunteer at URS and make a lasting difference in the lives of people with disabilities!

Volunteers are an important part of United Rehabilitation Services. Your help can provide continued and specialized attention to our clients.

We need volunteers in the following areas at URS:

• Adult & Youth Services - Volunteers work adults clients or children in our childcare center.
• URS Development Committee - Volunteers help drive efforts to raise awareness for URS and the special events that benefit the organization.
• Team Projects - Volunteer Groups can help with landscaping, painting, etc.

We need volunteers for the following special events:

• Help Sell Ducks for the Rubber Duck Regatta - Summer 2012 - Volunteers are needed to attend local festivals during the summer to promote the 9th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta and sell duck adoptions. Volunteers are also needed the weekend of the Regatta, September 14 and 15, 2012. This is a great opportunity for service groups!
• Young's Dairy Ice Cream Bike Tour - Saturday & Sunday, July 21 & 22 - Volunteers are needed to help out at rest stops during this two-day event. Learn more about participating in the ride and joining the URS Bike Team by calling Vivian at 233-1230 x105 or email.

To become a volunteer you must:

• Be fifteen years old (unless acompanied by an adult)
• Complete an application and orientation
